Admiral Claudius Rodney sat at the head of a large, round table, staring down at a datapad that contained all of the recent Imperial reports for the Ringali Shell Oversector, where he served as Governor-General. The middle-aged Human male looked tired, and there were signs of strain visible on his venerable face that seemed to have aged several years since arrival in the region less than one year ago. His uniform was impeccably kempt, the product of having an overzealous support staff that fawned upon him and attempted to do their best to please him.

Your Name

The player's name is used in the Era of Rebellion credits. Era of Rebellion considers itself a Star Wars club first and a game second. Therefore, it is important that all players be open and friendly towards one another. If you are not comfortable releasing your real name, then this is not the group you are looking for ... move along.

Your E-mail Address

The player should expect to receive regular updates via E-mail. It is important that he or she provide us with an E-mail address they check regularly.

Your IM Screen Name

Era of Rebellion is played in Google Documents. Every player must have either AOL/AIM, MSN, Yahoo, or Google. There are no restrictions or guidelines on a player's Screen Name. A player does not have to create a new Screen Name to participate in Era of Rebellion.

Character Name

Era of Rebellion believes it is very important that every player select a mature and intelligent name for their character. The character's surname cannot match that of an official Star Wars character, aside from cases where the character's family is extremely large. An example would be the Tagge family.

Character Species

Era of Rebellion features numerous species that a character can choose. Some species provide a character with certain bonuses. A player may select any species, provided that the species is not restricted to a certain location. An example would be a Tusken Raider, which is restricted to Tatooine. Character Sex

Either Male or Female.

Character Faction

Era of Rebellion features two major factions: the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire.

The Galactic Empire is attempting to suppress the planetary governments of the Ringali Shell through political influence and the use of Imperial agents. While the Galactic Empire is not at war with the planets in the Ringali Shell, it nevertheless is attempting to bring them into line with the Emperor's New Order. In addition, the Galactic Empire is attempting to locate and destroy the secret Rebel base, purge the planets in the Ringali Shell of Rebel guerillas, protect Imperial convoys from Rebel starfighter attacks, and inspect civilian space traffic to reduce smuggling.

The Rebel Alliance is attempting to gain the support of the wealthy populations of the planets in the Ringali Shell. In addition, the Rebel Alliance is attempting to harass Imperial efforts in the Ringali Shell by attacking Imperial forces assigned to garrison duty on the planets and striking at Imperial convoys passing through the Ringali Shell.

In addition to the two factions a player may choose to have their character listed as an Independent.

Character Archetype

Era of Rebellion features numerous archetypes that determine a character's skills and abilities. Not every archetype is available for each faction.

The archetypes are: Administrator, Assassin, Bounty Hunter, Con Artist, Crime Lord, Doctor, Elite Trooper, Gambler, Medic, Mercenary, Military Officer, Outlaw, Peace Officer, Pirate, Slicer, Smuggler, Spy, Starfighter Pilot, Stormtrooper, Technician, Thug, and Trader.

Character Homeworld

This must be an official Star Wars planet and be consistent with your character's Species. A list of planets can be found here: Planets on Wookieepedia.
